My Public Sector Client requires a Senior Web Developer to undertake the following responsibilites:-
1.To undertake the design, development and testing of both new and existing web-based and database applications.
2.To assist the Internet Officer based in and accountable to the Communications Directorate with existing and future web-based developments.
3.To follow the full project management cycle in developing software.
4.To perform software quality audits to ensure that all applications developed conform to the department quality standards or industry standards.
5.To prepare software design documents following in-house standards.
6.To assist the System Analyst and Users to determine requirements and produce the necessary specifications and documents
7.To provide support for other team members and the Internet Officer in problem solving, software design and specification tasks.
8.To contribute actively to the overall planning and management of software projects, develop schedules, implementation plans and task lists.

This role is an initial 3 month contract with excellent opportunities for extension.
You will be based in the South West or willing to relocate * commute for the duration of the contract
